Anyone familiar with Hartford traffic?

Our trip west next week puts us getting near Hartford (about 3 miles south) right around 9am. There is a smaller road I could take to stay further out of the city, but it is not an ideal route. Anyone know about traffic on Rt. 2 in Hartford (cutting west towards 91s south of the city)? Any input would be welcome.

    Actually, 2n, to 3w, to 91s was exactly my plan. You are saying that is a no-go right now?

    With that in mind, I think I'll re-phrase the request in a new thread to get a more direct response to what I am trying to accomplish.

    I live in the area and was through there yesterday between 4:30 and 5:30 going to Bradley Airport with no problem. By 9:00 most everyone is at work that is going. I would stay right on the highway, unless it was rush hr. You may see a little slowdown but, the other routes have traffic also.
