Atlanta to Minneapolis

I would take I-35 north into Minneapolis. Be sure to watch the weather forecasts, there can be some nasty snow and ice storms that time of year!

If you map your route on Google, it will show construction zones. Should you choose to pass through Illinois avoid I-90 northwest of Chicago. As a matter of fact, I would avoid the Chicago area all together to avoid traffic. I-39 is a much better option.
