Autoroute 30 through Montreal

There is a thread in the fifth wheel forum that mentions the new Autoroute 30 - a Montreal bypass. The thread also mentions that there are tolls on this new highway. Is there a website that says what the tolls are? I couldn't find anything when I was searching/googling the internet.

I will be travelling from Ontario to New Hampshire later this summer and will be passing through Montreal. Is the new Autoroute 30 worth taking (depending on the tolls)?

Thanks!

    Yes, the toll is for the bridge only.
  • Thanks for the link! It looks like the toll is only paid when going over the bridge. And I believe the toll is $4.60 when towing our 5th wheel!
  • I drive by the exit everyday I go to work. I think the sign says $1.15 per axle for non-passenger cars.
  • The new route bypasses Montreal to the south. Saves using the old highways that passed through the middle of the city and were known for heavy traffic, crazy drivers and tunnels.

    Auto Route 30 has tolls below $10.00 and saves about 1.5 hours travel time compared to the old route.
  • You want this website;

    http://www.a30express.com/

    There is a French/English tab at the top right.
  • I have Googled Autoroute 30 and all I find are websites that talk about the project and why it was needed. Is there another name for the highway?

    It sounds like it is a small toll - unlike Hwy 407 in Ontario that costs a fortune with a trailer in tow!
  • We took it early this spring. If I remember it was 1.75 for a car. I believe tow/trailer was about 4.00.
    Google autoroute 30. There is a web site with the pricing. Even if it was 10.00 I would still use it to not have to go through Montreal!
