bear viewing
wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a good tour guide for bear viewing..just a day trip and preferably out of homer? thank you

We prefer Karl Staus, but when in San Diego, many other Beer Viewings (I prefer the word 'samplings'.) options exits: Ballast Point, or Coronado, or my personal favorite - Stone brewery's exit. All have different shapes, colors, and 'heads'.

Note: I find that many of the Visitor Info Centers, and or, 'Campground Work Campers' - have good info on local wildlife viewing.
I can say for sure, if you want to watch Bald Eagles from near Homer - check out Anchor Point. When they launch the boats (neat to watch) they toss out the bait from the day before. The seagulls go wild, until the Bald Eagles show them who's 'Top Bird'...
