Bears, glaciers...the usual

As much as I enjoy posting pictures here, it is easier at times to just re-direct to my Blog. Volume of pix and text make it such a grind.

So..if you'd care to see this weekends pix and a bit of text of the jaunt to Stewart, Hyder and the two glaciers and one grizzly at Fish Creek and a moma and cub aroud Bear.






Was a good two days...weather was great. Three of us 3 guys in a Jeep SUV. I have a pal that lives in Stewart and she leant me her house. No King Eddy, thank-you very much. Glaciers were good, pizza was too.

    Gary, great trip report! But the best picture was the one of you standing tall in front of that glacier -- it is really good to see you up and around!!

    Thanks Dan. I still hobble some. Up in Hyder, I was viewed as bait. I guess end of the year before it`s totally dealt with. Better hurry up tho..I need to be able to jam that foot into a black boot..the ones that go with the red suit.

    We are off to Haida Gwaii for two weeks as of next Monday and are really looking forward to that. Some of it will be tough. Buddy of mine..son was murdered 4 years ago..his ashes are being brought home. His family is Haida and this will be a BFD. Then there is another Haida `thing` we have been invited to attend and after all of that, we get to just go wandering the Islands.
