Best, read easiest, fastest, less or smaller hills

We are dealing with a mix of old and m ore recent memories here, but I never ran 209 in anything but a big roller skate. The road was more scenic and less patrolled that the interstate. Suffice it to say that there is reason that many people cling to the interstate. 209 goes through small towns (Like Jim Thorpe) and there are traffic lights and people turning left. It is(was) kind of a pretty road. I don't recall is it saved enough miles as opposed to the interstates that it was worth the effort.

Slow down, get off of the interstate and meet the people. Our way of traveling.

81 to 84. Unless you have a reason to get off. Like stopping for lunch and wanting a more scenic drive.
