Best route for Custer State Park to Fishing Bridge
Hello,
In a few weeks we will be travelling from Custer state park to Fishing bridge in Yellowstone.
We have a 35 foot travel trailer and we're unfamiliar with the area.
What is the suggested best route to get from Custer to Fishing bridge? We don't mind going a little bit out of our way if it's going to make it easier on the truck.
I've read a little and it looks like avoiding 14 through the Bighorn area is necessary.
Is it best to completely avoid the Bighorn area and instead head further south?
I've also read that some don't recommend going into the east entrance pulling a trailer at all, but I don't see how feasible that is.
Thanks for any suggestions.
