Best route from Navarre FL to I-65 and on north to TN

We're leaving Navarre FL (Emerald Beach RV) tomorrow for TN. I'm not familiar with route 87, but it looks like the best route to take. Anyone traveled 87 from Navarre to I-65 north or is there a bet...

My vote is I-10 to 231 north to I-65. A nice road.
