Best route to the Grand Tetons

Looking for the best route to Coulter Bay Village, going west on I-80 in Wyoming from Nebraska. Then heading to Tacoma, WA

I all ways go to Rock Springs to Pinedale to Jackson. The road is good all of the way, gentle hills and sweeping curves. There is on pass north of Pinedale but there is a passing lane. All of these roads have been paved in the last few years.

Leaving Jackson area, my suggestion was US 89 south and then US 26 over to I-15.
I am guessing you do not plan on Yellowstone.
Careful about US 26 suggestion from US 287. Has mountain pass east of Moran Junction that can be intimidating. Down hill on west side is not for some people!

I'm looking for the easiest drive, too old for adventure to find more beauty.

Is "best" the best scenery or the easiest route?

I like taking 287 out of Rawlins to 26. It's a very pretty ride.
