Brand comb Rd.
Is anyone familiar with Brand comb Rd. between Westport and Laytonville Ca.? I'm pulling a 37' fit wheel and wondering if that would be an acceptable alternative to Hwy.20 between Fort Bragg and 101.

- Did they open up the second lane and get rid of signal lite? When you leave don't go north on hwy 1 to Leggett (27 mi) unless you scout it out in your TV. It is not for the timid. You will have a racing stripe in your pissypants.
- Thanks cmeade. Typing on your phone and auto correct really can suck. We're here now and hwy.1 is pissyourpants exciting those last few miles!
- Take Hwy 20. Branscomb rd is narrow and winding and I would not take my 39 ft 5ver on it. We were just at Westport Beach RV Resort 2 weeks ago and had great time. Stayed 5 days. Hwy 1 is twisty and narrow n of Ft Bragg but only about 8 mi of the 17 mi with a one lane section with signal lite and 5 minute red lite. GPS wanted a left at Pacific st in Westport but disregard and continue to left into park entrance at 37700 Hwy 1.
