Is anyone familiar with Brand comb Rd. between Westport and Laytonville Ca.? I'm pulling a 37' fit wheel and wondering if that would be an acceptable alternative to Hwy.20 between Fort Bragg and 101.

Did they open up the second lane and get rid of signal lite? When you leave don't go north on hwy 1 to Leggett (27 mi) unless you scout it out in your TV. It is not for the timid. You will have a racing stripe in your pissypants.

Thanks cmeade. Typing on your phone and auto correct really can suck. We're here now and hwy.1 is pissyourpants exciting those last few miles!

Take Hwy 20. Branscomb rd is narrow and winding and I would not take my 39 ft 5ver on it. We were just at Westport Beach RV Resort 2 weeks ago and had great time. Stayed 5 days. Hwy 1 is twisty and narrow n of Ft Bragg but only about 8 mi of the 17 mi with a one lane section with signal lite and 5 minute red lite. GPS wanted a left at Pacific st in Westport but disregard and continue to left into park entrance at 37700 Hwy 1.

It's Branscomb, and I found nothing on this forum.
