British Columbia-Hiway # 1

Check out Drive BC website for the latest info. MAJOR EVENTS link. Road is closed west of Revelstoke. Traffic being held in Revelstoke and Golden.
Alternate routes will be a zoo! Best to hunker down for a few days!!!!

    Howdy, neighbor (I'm also in Glenwood Spgs). Looks like Highway 1 is having lots of closures and delays. I bet there are tons of tourists up there right now, too, with the free park pass.

    Yeah, we're heading to BC tomorrow but won't hit the 1 for a couple of weeks. Canada Day and 4th of July in Banff. A zoo for sure, but at least I got a reservation there.
