Capilano River RV Campground - West Vancouver

Capilano is very convenient. Although our TT is only 24ft, we had on issues whatsoever. You won't have any problems. There are larger fifth wheels there in the park.

We stayed one night and then stored the rv in front for $18 a night. They also have no service sites for $45. We took the SUV on the ferry to Naniamo and headed to Campbell River for four days.

Capilano was the best thing for a foreigner. We even drove through town across the bridge downtown and through afternoon traffic. Great way to see the sights on your way.

There is also a mall, restaurants, and shopping within walking distance of the park. We recommend the place.

It is also on a rapid transit line.

This park Burnaby Caribou RV Park is about 20 to 30 minutes to just about anywhere in Vancouver. My son is full timing there in their 34'Bighorn fifth that's how I know. It is a nice park but the back side is by the train tracks.....

Stay on CAN 1 around to North Vancouver should be good. Watch your time of day!

Because you've got a pickup to drive, I wouldn't stay in that North Vancouver campground. It's located in a very heavy traffic area with tight turns.
Stay in the Fraser Valley area (Abbotsford, Langley, or Surrey} or a Squamish campground if you're going to visit Whistler.
Then commute with your pickup.
