Yes - easy - or drive on through Vail and take the Rt 24 at Minturn all the way back to Leadville (more scenic, and just beautiful drive, especially late September with the Golden Aspen)- but the question is Rt 91 -easy short.

Like all high mountain passes, a bit of a grunt, but there's a passing lane for about four miles of the climb, which is most of the steeper stuff. Only one sweeping switchback on the downhill side. Otherwise a fairly straight road for the mountains.

I do it several times a year in our rig and toad. Freemont Pass is pretty much of a yawner as Colorado passes go. Short and moderately steep grade on each side but no big surprises.

Yes, its as doable as any other road going over an 11,000 ft pass in Colorado. its a good 2 lane road with shoulders and a few passing sections with truck lane for slow moving rigs.
that's assuming we're talking about summer/fall and not middle of winter.
