Lots of that going on. I was at the local ski hill last year and this good looking late 20's early 30's woman had captured the attention of the local riffraff in the bar. I went in and starting talking with her and it turned out she was with the law enforcement arm of the local NFS office. Her main job in the winter was to travel around to the ski resorts and enforce the law re: marijuana not being legal on federal lands. Once everyone found out what she did, I'm guessing half the bar stood up and left, knowing what she did for a living! :E

CDOT Pictures will show Asphalt on most roads - the 2' of snow every spring is to just give the grass a boost.

But it is a little tuff on the Tulips.

Shoveling this stuff was no fun. I'm in Lafayette and had about 12" with much more in drifts. It snowed pretty much until 4 or 5pm.

Still some closures at the late hour of 10pm this Wednesday night. I-25 north of Wellington to Cheyenne WY is closed, as is US 287 from Fort Collins to Laramie WY. 100+ miles of I-80 in Wyoming is closed. Snowfall measured in feet in some places. We got 15 inches here in Loveland, with blizzard conditions most of the day.

AND....it's not over. This Friday night into Saturday, another storm is on the way. Already this far out, forecasters are saying could be at least 6 inches. And this blizzard we just had? Initial forecast was 3-6 inches here in northern Colorado.

If you're heading this way later this week or weekend, be sure to check the forecast.

Oh no! Up here in Manitoba, if there is a Colorado low it usually comes our way with a vengeance, and just in time for Easter! Maybe it will peter out or decide to take a different path this time? Good thing is it's late March so should melt quick! Don't strain shoveling all that wet snow!!
