Davenport Area

Question

We will be in the area visiting. Plan on going to Le Claire, Amana  Colonies and different sites in between. Any good full hookup campgrounds/rv parks somewhere in between? Going to need to do laundry about then so that's going to be a plus. Thanks for the help.

We always stay at Interstate RV off of I-80 and close to I-280. Don't know about laundry, however. I do know they do not have propane.
Just down the street from the campground is the Machine Shed restaurant. We recommend the double-cut Iowa pork chop (some call it a pork roast). You can share it or take half home. Their pies are wonderful and we frequently take a whole one back to the RV. They also have take-out.

We usually stay at Amana RV Park when we are in the area, usually mid-April on the way hone from AZ. via Denver.

We love Bald Eagle Campground, Scott County Park, just north of Davenport in Eldridge. Full hookups, paved, $21 per night with sr discount.
