- netjamExplorerIt depends on how far north of the border. We use ours in Calgary, ab without any problem. It gets iffy around Edmonton, ab.
- FrankShoreExplorerIf you have a switchable dish (Winegard Carryout G2) you can set it up for Bell in Canada
- IvylogExplorer IIIThe bigger the dish the further north you can get service.
- MamaGooseExplorerWe were thinking of using a Tailgater or something like that with our motorhome. A fixed roof unit might be problematic in Canada, given there tend to be a lot of trees where we RV.
- luckydExplorerWe have used ours across Canada. When we reached the East Coast
and dropped into Maine, I called Dish and they set me up with
the eastern satellites. As I headed west, the western sats kicked in. - luckydExplorerOh yes, we have used a Tailgater for several years.
- MamaGooseExplorerThanks for the feedback! DH is checking the motorhome right now for a satellite input someplace other than the roof. Our motorhome is a 2003 Fleetwood Revolution and it already has an obsolete satellite dome on the roof. Hopefully there is some other place closer to ground level to plug in a cable going to a tailgater.
