Dodge City US283 Okla?
How is US283 from Dodge City KS to Vernon TX? I'm real leery of Oklahoma road surfaces tend to avoid them unless I hear they're ok.

- Three years ago it was very rough in some sections. 183 is better.
- Good road. Country 2 lane and you can make good time on it. I drive it 20 - 30 times a year and I've never noticed anything bad about it.
