Dry Ridge, KY - Overnight

I was wondering if the Walmart in Dry Ridge KY is still safe for a quick overnight. It has been a few years since I have been through there but it use to be ok. I checked all the usual sources for Walmart information but couldn't find anything on this one.

Is there plenty of RV parking or do they fill up by 8pm?

Most places the town can not order a tow from private property, they must have complaint from the land owner . In Daytona area the police will tell the store manager that the store is responsible to make you move . When asked to move , if you refuse the store manager will call the tow !
I have never been asked to move , even with signs .

You knowingly park overnight when there are signs that prohibit it? If it's true, please stop doing that. It gives all RV owners a bad reputation.

  • Thanks to all that replied. Any ideas for an easy overnight in the area, we were going to do Walmart because we will probably arrive late and I did not want to disturb anyone or unhook the toad.

I may try the Flying J in Walton.
  • As TucsonJim said, it is a no overnighter at Walmart or and stores at the Dry Ridge exits.
We used to stay there, but as of the last 18months the city have implemented No overnight regulations. When we had finished our Walmart shopping, we asked the manager about the overnight parking and his response was, its OK with us but the town will tag or may even tow, best not to risk it.
