A number of years ago,I flew into Denver to pick up an Excursion PSD that I bought on Ebay and somehow got onto E-470 headed north and since I had no idea where I was,I just followed the signs north on 470 to I-25 and headed out. I did see signs for a toll road,but no toll booths so figgered what the heck.
My CU wanted the registration and title changed before I picked it up, so since I was putting personalized plates on it from my last car and I had them with me. I tried to change them at the airport but the sweet young lady in a blue airport cop uniform kept yelling at us to get the rig outta there, so we signed the final papers and I headed out at 10 PM and changed the plates the next morning at my motel.
Never got a bill. And boy,did that woman have a loud voice and an awesome personality.
