If I had to stay in KOA campgrounds I would sell my RV and find a new hobby.
This campground (formerly Timberlane) just became a KOA this year. I've stayed here several times because it's an easy first leg when going south. Other than the KOA sign (and an increase in price), the campground is virtually unchanged. The old dark lodge-style office was brightened up and is more inviting. There is a section in the back for the permanents and a section in the front with mostly all pull-throughs for transients. Another good feature of this place is that it's open all year.
