Planning on stopping at Fallingwater on the way home. We are planning to stay overnight nearby and stop at Fallingwater on the way to the next stop.Questions:1. There are a few CGs in the area. Can anyone recommend one?2. Google Earth shows an RV/bus parking area at FW. Has anyone gone in there with their rig. We have a 35' motor home.

I was there a few years ago w/RV. As I recall the road to FW was winding and some 85 degree curves but nothing impassable, but it will be a slow trip in RV. I would not take my RV there, but tour busses do it all the time and there were RV's there when I was there. I stayed at a private campground in Farmington.GGeorge

Falling waters is also a state park with camping in north FLORIDA .

Falling Waters is also a town and campground in West Virginia... :)

People like me think of Frank Lloyd Wright when they hear of Falling Water. Not of Florida or West Virginia. Did not even know the others existed.Would like to see it myself.

We stayed at Hickory Hollow Campground found it convenient to local attractions Falling Water, Johnstown flood, Flight 93 Memorial.

Followup - we made it to Fallingwater (the Frank Lloyd Wright designed house in southwestern Penn.). The Hickory Hollow CG is pretty good (they're building a new clubhouse as well). The house has RV and bus parking, but the roads getting there are pretty hilly, so staying close by and taking the toad is the way to go.

There's also a Yogi park about 3 miles from the house.

Thanx for the replies. I think we'll do Hickory Hollow for a few days and rent a car to explore, rather than driving there in the bus.
