In 2010 Flagstaff had several buildings collapse from snow. Doesn't happen often as most buildings are built to handle lots of snow. Normally Flagstaff sees very dry fluffy snow. Several feet of that is no problem. Once in awhile they'll get heavy wet snow which causes buildings to collapse.
