Florida to Sevierville, easiest route

We are leaving Flaggler Beach FL and heading to Sevierville, TN. I am looking for the easiest, flattest route. I am pulling a 36 foot travel trailer, and I am willing to go via Atlanta if the direct route is too steep.

I know where Flagler Beach is. I also know that I-26 from Spartanburg SC. to Hendersonville, NC has one of, if not the steepest interstate highway grades in the southeast. The OP asked for flatest. I-75 is flatter, and yes about 60 miles longer.

I go 95 to 26 to 40 from Florida or Georgia. I40 through the mountains is not that bad and 40 brings you right around to the back side of Sevierville.

We live near Sevierville and just came up from Savannah back in July. Zero problems.

441 over the mountain to Gatlinburg is steep and curvy. Stay on 75 if you don't have lots of experience in mountain driving. I take 441 every time I go to FL but go around the mountain by going to Waynesville NC and pick up 40 there. That route even has a few good grades to deal with. I have towed through ATL 2 times and have vowed to never go through ATL ever again. I hate ATL traffic and the abundance of crazies on the road.

I would not recommend GSMNP as flattest, especially N bound. From F Beach 95, 26, 40 is shorter and no major climbs. SC has the cheapest fuel in the SE.

I-75 north to Macon by-pass. Exit at Forsyth and north to Madison and then 441 north around Athens. 441 North in NC and follow thru GSMNP. Gatlinburg by-pass into Pigeon Forge and continue into Sevierville.
Simple and easy

75 to 40 thru Atlanta is most direct route. I would avoid Atlanta. No hills of any size to worry about but a slight rise all the way.

I would use I 75
