Food - Utah Mighty Five Loop

While doing the Mighty 5 in Utah over 24 days, we will be staying in
- Mexican Hat
- Page
- Kanab
- Virgin
- Escalante
- Torrey
- Moab
- Bluff

Wife just asked about eating while doing the loop. We will love to here your insight into where we can get groceries and restaurant recommendations. Thanks!!

the last time we stayed at Thousand Lakes RV park on the west side of Torrey, they offered great Cinnamon Buns in the a.m. and on Fridays, they had a steak supper offered, also very good...not cheap, but good. 🙂
This was about 5 to 7 years ago, so be aware of that.

I don't think you can swing a hungry cat in Utah without at least hitting a Walmart.

When you're in Virgin, there's a good market down the hill at La Verkin and then a Walmart further down the road in Hurricane.

Escalante definitely has groceries too, and so does Kanab.

I can't recall where we've shopped in those other spots, but you probably only need 3-4 grocery stops for a 24 day trip assuming you load up your fridge before you leave home.

We've been to all those places, but can only remember shopping for groceries at Kanab and Moab. Also, ate at two great restaurants in Springdale just down the road from Virgin.
