Hi all,
We have campground reservations for Glacier St. MARY this summer. Wife wants to eat into Canada, but I cannot get reservations for the Waterton side. We don't mind traveling further north to Jasper or maybe even Banff, but closer to border probably better. I will be driving a 40 ft diesel funmover with a couple of bikes, maybe a rzr in back, towing a jeep.

Looking for access to good scenery, activitoes, carry a kayak and a dog.
Thanks,

Cb

excellent ATV riding in the Crowsnest pass area, may be the last year for it though. There's also Crandell campground but it's FCFS and with your unit may be hard to get a spot. There's a private campground in Pincher Creek as well but I've never stayed there. If all else fails Pincher has a walmart too.

Remember, your dog will need vaccination and proof of rabies shots to cross the border. Make sure you have proof of insurance for your vehicles with Canadian coverage as well. Have fun.

Not in Waterton. If you were to go further north into Alberta I am quite certain you could find some good riding.

Hopefully one of our Alberta members will offer you some insights.

OK thanks. We may switch to a smaller 21 ft rig if needed. Is there any atv or off road stuff out there to explore? Wife has a Polaris rzr and I ride a street legal dirt bike. Bear protection?

With your size rig Waterton Springs or Crooked Creek are probably best and the closest to Waterton Village.

You might want to look at heading up to Kananaskis. Mount Kidd RV park and all the provincial campgrounds in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park have 90 day advance reservations.

You can easily daytrip up to Waterton from Glacier, we did it last year. You'll need passports.
