GPS app best one for a iPad

You should make sure your iPad has GPS. Most do not. Generally cellular iPads have GPS, WIFI-only iPads do not have GPS.

X2 for CoPilot, that said I also have, and use, HERE We Go and iExit which is super convenient.

We've been happy using CoPilot RV for the past couple of years. Be sure you have an iPad with cellular capability so it has the GPS receiver. You don't need to have an active cell plan to use CoPilot. The entire map database can be loaded onto the iPad. The database updates can be done over a wifi connection.
