Highway Conditions
Does anybody know the current condition of the highway between Fort Nelson and Chetwyn? Is there a lot of road/bridge construction going on? Any long delays? Next week I'll be traveling that way on my way to Missoula, MT.

- We were over to Chetwynd in July a couple of weeks after the big storm. The were no obstacles between Dawson Creek and Chetwynd. West of Chetwynd 20 to 40 km three sections of one way traffic through construction delayed us less than an hour. I expect it is all finished by now. I haven't heard of any difficulties on the Alaska highway.
- We came down that road about 4 days ago. Still some roadworks and single lane traffic with slight delays but no problems at all.
- If it's anything like our trip to Ontario and back for 2 months, there is Winter time and CONSTRUCTION time that only happens when the tourist is out in full strength. That just way it is every where.
- Road construction in the north can change by the day and week.
