How is hwy. 191 from the petrified forest to arches NP. Will be IN 38FT Motorhome with tow vehicle. Been on road for 6 weeks really tired of mountains.

I think you'll enjoy 191 compared to the route you've already taken. It's wide open country with beautiful vistas. However, there are some ups and downs and gentle big curves but nothing like you've already be on to Yellowstone, Black Hills, etc. Have a great trip!

Generally flat and straight, a few grades where it steps up a rim, or crosses a river. But nothing I would call 'mountains'. You'll probably have more of a grade on the approach road within Arches.

What mountains have you been in? After Arches, where do you intend to go?

You'll encounter more mountains driving east (I70) than on I40 from where you are.
