- SarviExplorerI believe it's a 55' restriction on that stretch of road, west of where 22 merges. I don't think it would be very fun with a large motor home, but it's doable.
- dsteinmanExplorerWe took US20 from Burns to Newport last summer. From Sisters to Lebanon it is fairly twisty and steep. And a very pretty drive. Certainly doable but kind of slow. Between that section and the construction around Eddyville and since I prefer to take different routes, I decided it wasn't worth it on the way back and took Oregon 22 past the lake. This is way is easier and also scenic.
David - Ed_CExplorerThere are lots of twists and turns and ups and downs. We have done it about 10 times in a 38' Gasser and a 41' DP towing all the time. It's a little work but a nice ride. I'm always looking for Sasquatch to cross in front of us.
- Trip check shows no restrictions. Some construction with minor delays.
Trip check - IvylogExplorer III242 out of Sister is not an option as it's limited to 35'.
- RVcrazyExplorerLast I knew, there were weight & length restrictions on that road because of road slippage & repair. I would check with the DOT before taking that route through Sweet Bome to Lebanon. The road through Stayton past Detroit Lake is a much better road and won't add many miles. Enjoy the drive!
- US 20 is a good two lane highway. Be aware that many trucks use it.
Great scenery! - MrRulesExplorerYes, Sisters, Oregon and Lebanon, Oregon.
- LwiddisExplorer IISisters in Oregon? Or?
