- agesilausExplorer IIIBarring piles of snow it show be fine.
- winnimanExplorer IIWe went that way last February. It was no problem.
- LwiddisExplorer IIFive or so years ago it was a good drive. However I was ”trailerless” on that trip but remember no concerns.
- azdryheatExplorerThe 89 is passible by almost any vehicle including 18-wheelers. It is part of the primary route from Flagstaff to Salt Lake City.
Now, the 89A is another story and is not recommended for large RV's. - dmck413ExplorerCame south from I 70 to Flagstaff in Sep. All good road but not a lot of services.

Don't tell that to the thousands of large RV rigs that travel it every year. While not as straight & level, as 89, it's a good route to travel.
