I-35 south of TX-OK border closed

Question

Anyone planning to travel I-35 between Dallas area and Oklahoma check ahead on road conditions. I-35 is closed both directions in the Valley View area (between Denton and Gainsville) due to heavy rains and road flooding. Over 10" in that area so far and still raining.

We are returning north from San Antonio, but always take US 281 which pretty much parallels I-35.  That may be an alternate route for both north- and south-bound travelers.GM
