I-40 in NC
NC-DOT announced today that I-40 both directions between exit 20 in NC and exit 451 in Tenn. will be closed at 4 AM Thursday. Repair work for another rock slide. https://apps.ncdot.gov/newsreleases...

I was thru there Sunday afternoon. One lane was blocked. One huge boulder and a lot of other stuff. If the rock slide has not increased, It should not take long to clear up.
