I77 toward virginia--high winds

Anyone going up I77 toward Virginia? We leaving this afternoon and there is a high wind advisory, just wondering if anyone else will be traveling that road? Trying to find an alternate route to Twin Rivers Campground in Crumpler NC on the New River.

    As of the time of this post the wind advisories have been canceled but winds remain forecast in the 15 - 20 mph range.

    I'm not, but I was returning from FL to PA in late March. NOAA had issued a high wind warning and was advising high vehicles to stay off the highways.

    I was overnighting in Columbia, SC. I decided to spend another night in Columbia. Next day no wind problems.

    IMHO, nothing more tiring that being blown all over the highway.
