If you were one of the lucky ones that got to stay at Rancho Bougainvilla as we were, have you ever found another similar park? We had a great time, loved the location and owners. Hope to find another like it! Please share, can be mainland or Baja. Send me a PM if you don't want to publish if it is your secret park!

Care to share? we usually drive north up the coast in the spring.

Ranch B was perfectly situated between Zihuatanejo and Puerto Vallarta to allow a two day trip instead of three.

We were lucky enough to stop at Rancho Bouganvilla in 2009. We appreciated Sandy and Cynthia's hospitality and enjoyed Cynthia's amazing mojitos and pizza. We passed that way again this past winter. The sign to their campground is still there. The road to it looks deserted. So sad. Does anybody know what became of Sandy and Cynthia?

They are living and working in PV. Doing well I last heard! Graydon keeps in touch with them and saw them this last winter. We were there the weekend of the first Pizzas. Lets say the Pizzas were good but still in refinement that weekend, LOL! How about their fresh Papaya with Lime!? Hummmm Good!

I agree that it was the owners, Sandy and Cynthia, that made the place special. The location was also great. Although we have found another place for our piece of heaven in Mexico, Rancho B will always be #1 in our memories.

rocmoc.........Are you talking "Rancho Bougainvilla" like in Guanajuato? We were there Feb. 2009. and have many fond memories of the campground, the owners, their resturant, their kids, and the town.
Would like to share some photos when I find the time to find and post them.
