Intercourse PA to US301 Del Mar

We are traveling in a 34' Class A with a car in tow back to Florida coming out or Intercourse PA, we like to stay East of the Baltimore, DC area and usually take US301. My GPS has us using SR896 to US301. The road looks ok, but I have a concern going through Newark Del. Has anyone used this route, anything I should look out for.

    I tow my 42’ fifth wheel that way all the time... BUT .. 301 has been extended now and you do not have to take 896.. Take 95 to the Mall wxit for route 1.. once on 1, criss the bridge and stay in the right lane for the new 301... great road

    I would look at PA Rt 41 to Del 7 to Del 1 to US 301. Better/straighter road for the RV.

    I would second this route and yes the NEW 301 from Rt. 1 is a toll road with either EZ-Pass or toll by plate.
