John: Your performance reminded me of a "funk" song from the 60's by Archie Bell and The Drells called " Tighten Up". Archie facetiously states: My name is Archie Bell and we are the Drells. We don't only sing, but we dance just as good as we want" You win the one-upmanship contest but do you also have a video of Angela breakdancing? Maybe if we promote that video and it goes viral you would have enough $$ for the return trip.

Angela says no go on the video. I've got a routine I could probably video for you but Angela made me take the pole down in the motorhome so you'll just have to use your imagination on that one. :). - moishehExplorerJohn: Your performance reminded me of a "funk" song from the 60's by Archie Bell and The Drells called " Tighten Up". Hi J & A:Yah I guess your right Silver. All about keeping an open mind I guess. I would love to hear some of your back packing stories...
...I'll do you one better; here is a VERY old website of mine (indexed by Tripod.com) with the 1st of a series of narratives "we" wrote about one of my expeditions into Central America (this particular expe was via our Folbot folding kayak (not an RV though)) 700 kilometers up and down rivers and along the Caribbean Coast through the wild "Mosquito Coast" region of Honduras & Nicaragua: link--> Because it is an archived website, just kill the single pop-up that, well, pops-up as you read through each page...I have other narratives of many other expes all over Central America, and the sparsely-explored interior of the Yucatan (I have to put them all into a book one day! One was already made into a documentary film by A & E Television, back in 1999: Lost Cities).
Thanks silver. We will check it out. - silversandExplorer

I could never understand how you can bring 20 people into one hotel room and leave it looking like Atilla the Hun had a party but one little dog or cat is not allowed!
Hah hah! I have to agree with ya vis camaraderie among RVers. "Pets" of several types are allowed aboard some airline flights :-)
I'm still on the mailing list of that "Consortium" planning a vehicle ferry from Florida to Yucatan...maybe one day we will use it, with our truck camper rig! - silversandExplorerHi J & A:

J & A: Enjoy your summer and post a youtube of the song and dance act!

Here you go. My brother Louis and I sang this for my Mom this past summer. Angela caught it with her I Phone. My brother never knew he could sing until a few years ago. I like to play, he likes to sing. Works out good.

One of my Moms other favourites. Saturday nights in my brothers basement are kinda fun. A little wine helps. :)
