Jackson Wy to Idaho Falls, Id

40' Class A pulling a Jeep.......Looking at SB out of Jackson on Hwy 89/26 then continuing on 26 to Idaho Falls.....

Good road?? doable in my rig ?? anything I am missing, it looks good on the map......

Thx in advance......
  • Just did it in May pulling a 26ft TT.There are some twists and turns but I don't remember it being scary at all.
  • Drove it 5 days ago. Good highways with a few twists and turns but a easy run.
  • 89/26 is an excellent, very easy route. Don't use 22 as a short cut. That's the steep one.

rr the OP's route is not on 22... No place that will even require much braking with an exhaust brake. Used this route Labor Day and it's an easy scenic route and the road is in good condition.
  • It is scary I smoked the breaks on my Winnebago Gasser - One heck of downhill

IMO the only way to go! Mostly downhill with an easy grade to Alpine Junction. No significant grades on 26 to Idaho Falls.
