If you are coming from the West, DO NOT go over Teton Pass. Take the time to go up the Snake River Canyon from Alpine Junction. It's worth the extra few miles to avoid Teton Pass. If you are coming from the East over Togwotee Pass, it's ok, just take it easy. There is a really nice campground off of Togwotee Pass, Falls CG. Two loops, one with electricity and the other is dry, but both are beautiful. Well worth the pittance to stay.
