- 2lazy4UExplorerThis happened in Colorado this past Tuesday, kind of a fun video (except for the car owner).
bear in car video
Not trying to hijack the thread. I spent way too much time on the Katmai cam last summer - so much time I started feeling sorry for the fishies. - bee_46ExplorerWe were there last summer. Great to see in person. It's worth the time and money to go if you get the chance.

Gary Haupt - CroweExplorerThat was one of the places we went to on our first trip to Alaska. My son was 7 years old. The pro photographers that were there parted like the Red Sea to let my son get a good view. We have some great pictures from there.
- dapperdanExplorerWe were just there a week ago today. It was an experience I'll never forget! Having a bear walk past our group just fifteen feet from us was unnerving to say the least! :E
Dan - loggenrockExplorerThanks, Gary! Not just for grandkids!!! ST
- 3oaksExplorerYes, very cool, but much better being there in person.
We were at Katmai several years ago, with none other than Gary Alt as our guide.
Two years later we were at the McNeil River — State Game Sanctuary and Refuge. Flew in and camped in tents. Bears, Bears, and more Bears just as National Geographic shows in their nature films. - gboppExplorerAnd I thought the eagle cams were cool.
Thanks. :C - is_it_friday_yeExplorerHere's the live webcam.
