Yes, very cool, but much better being there in person.
We were at Katmai several years ago, with none other than Gary Alt as our guide.
Two years later we were at the McNeil River — State Game Sanctuary and Refuge. Flew in and camped in tents. Bears, Bears, and more Bears just as National Geographic shows in their nature films.
