Kayaking to glaciers
Where is the best place to paddle to glaciers? We may be limited to the Seward or Whittier area. Any recommendations for a specific tour company or a do it yourself paddle? Thank You in advanced

I've done a lot of ocean kayaking in the Prince William Sound area and I can recommend Sunny Cove Sea Kayaking in Seward. They have trips out to the fiords that will put you around icebergs and glaciers, with guides who know what they are doing. I do not recommend a "do it yourself" trip and I agree with Bill/Trackrig - caution and danger are required around glaciers (which can make their own weather) from unexpected circumstances to water that can kill you in less than five minutes. Experience in these waters is a very valuable thing to have alongside you and can make your vacation much more enjoyable.
