We have job for summer at Grand Teton. Will be leaving LV in 2-3 weeks.
YES, we will check with state authorities but anyone in Utah?
We have heard about entering the state and getting pPerwork to travel..
Any one in Utah with first hand experience?

We would have loved visiting Utah N.P. 'S on our way, but oh well....

Take route wguss recommended. From that direction you'll go through Star Valley, hit Alpine Junction and up through the Snake River canyon. That's 89 to 26. This route avoids Teton Pass which is not recommended for big RVs. Don't know what you are driving or towing, but go around instead through Alpine Junction.

I've been chomping at the bit to get up there this spring. Been watching for an update but nothing so far on the park reopening. It looks like Gros Ventre will now open first on May 21 and I noticed Signal Mountain on June 4.

We always take the 15 connecting to the 89 at Brigham City. Nice scenery through Logan Pass and Bear Lake. I've checked with the usual place we stay in Utah at Beaver and it's open now. Hope this all smooths out soon.

Which campground will you be working in?

Saw your new post after I entered mine. Once you hit St. George, UT it begins to cool off as you climb. Depending when we get out of L.A. we usually stay at Cedar City or Beaver, Ut the first night. The next day we head to Garden City and stay at Rendezvous Beach State Park on Bear Lake. If you don't want to go that far there is a state park campground at North Willard Bay. It's about 4 and 1/2 hours from there to Jackson on the 89. A few hills to climb but not bad. You will drive through Star Valley which should be in full spring by then.

Interesting route,,thank you. We are also looking for some boondocking spots on our way. Las Vegas is starting to hit high 80's - and even a 90 degree day soon.
We are at TT and have a/c but .....

Any other info out there?

Take US 93 out of North Las Vegas to Twin Falls, ID, then I-84 and I-86 to I-15 at Pocatello,ID. to Idaho Falls, then thru to Victor, to Alpine Jct. to Jackson Hole, WY. Miss Utah altogether! But the Utes have backed off on what they were originally trying to do.
