Las Vegas to Medford, OR

Question

We're heading across the lower states from Louisiana to Medford Oregon. We'll come into Las Vegas on 93. Any suggestions for the easiest route from there? We've had MAJOR engine trouble, read melted Pistons and two blowouts, coming through Texas. We need the FLATEST route possible. Any suggestions?

I-15 S to Barstow CA, 58 W to Bakersfield, 58 W to I-5, I-5 N to Medford.

Check the weather conditions for high winds 2 days before you depart and then plan accordingly. Just a  few miles before you reach down town Bakersfield there are a couple of great RV parks. 1. A Country &amp;  2. Orange Groove.
