When I was working near Chicago some years ago, I got an EZ-Pass. When that job ended, I didn't use it for a while and got billed for the month I didn't use it. That didn't go over so well.....

Are there any EZ-Pass carriers that do not bill you if you don't use them??

I-pass from Illinois I think was $10 and put some money on it, no service charge. Works anywhere ez-pass does.

Strange. I've got a transponder issued by the Central Florida Expressway authority that is EZ Pass compatible in 18 states. Haven't been on a road that I need it for in quite awhile. Account balance remains what it's been since last use, although once the 'Lexus Lanes' on I-4 through Orlando open I suspect that will change.

I have Indiana's. Sometimes I go 5 months without using it and no charges.
I've been to all 50 States but my RV hasn't.
