Looking For Suggestions on Yuma to Calgary

Getting tired of wind and would like suggestions for a route back to Calgary (Not I15 our usual route) Would like to take two to three weeks and get to see something new. Was thinking of New Mexico but it looks like it is cold there. Would be interested in staying somewhere for a week or so, Any suggestions?

    check the weather, we are having snow in eastern Oregon and western Idaho today

    At this time of year the only route where you might not hit any major snow is to go West and either take I5 or 101 North. Lots of things to see but take some rain gear, you will need it.
