Moab to Page

Question

Howdy!We are driving from Moab, Utah to Page, Az through Monument Valley. Are there any steep inclines or passes we need to be concerned with?  We’re thinking of the 191 S to 163 to 160 to 98 N. Some look like they could be a problem. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It has been several years since I've driven that road.  That was with an under-powered satellite TV truck and not an RV.  But I don't recall any issues.

Stop at Historic Navajo Bridge and see the Condors.  Sharp 90 degree turn at Mexican Hat.  No hills. Visit Valley of Gods and stop at "I stop running" Forrest Grump siteClick For Full-Size Image.

You will have a short (1/2 mile) steep downhill between Blanding and Bluff, but RVs drive that route every day.
