Mount Evans Road in winter...?
I know that the actual road to Mount Evans (the dead end road) is closed, but is Squaw Pass Road (CR 103) from Idaho Springs to Evergreen open in the winter?

- I believe so, yes. It is a regular paved road. Driven it many times - very pretty drive.
Probably only closes in the event of a big storm making it impassable until the ploughs get there.
