Myrtle Creek Or to WaldPort Or

Question

Heading out tomorrow and both GPS's have me heading out of Myrtle Creek Oregon on I-5 and taking exit 136 to OR hwy 138 to Elkton/Reedsport, then onto hwy 38.

Is this a good road for a motorhome with a Toad on the back? Anything I should know about?

It's a pretty drive along the river.  We did it pulling our 30' TT.  No problem.  Look for the Roosevelt Elk as you get closer to Reedsport.

Yes. That's the road we took up and back to/from Waldport last summer. Very pleasant scenic road.

We took the route and really enjoyed it.  Saw a nice size herd of Elk at the Elk view area, mostly Bulls.  Road was great, loved the passing lanes and the marked pull outs.  101 was another story, lots of road work, constant stops for one way traffic.  Will not head back on 101.
