Until the recent fuel tax increase, NJ gas prices were considerably less than PA, DE and many other states on the East Coast even though attendants had to be paid to pump the fuel. Now about the same price but rarely more. The previous low price leader, SC must have also increased their gas tax as this Spring fuel in SC was about the same price as some other states.
