I also agree with crowe. My wife and I went last September when a light bulb went off that we are somewhat "empty nesters" in a way. With one son married and the other in college, we had no reason to have to go away during the summer, and can get away whenever the opportunity arises with the work schedule. It was probably the best time we ever have gotten away. Still warm enough to sit on the beach, without the crowds, and campgrounds were less crowded and quiet. Go in September, and you will not regret it. Have a safe trip.
